Are you ready to fall in LOVE with your curls? 

Over the past 6 years I have been dedicated to furthering education on curly hair, both for myself as a stylist and for my guests.

Born with curly hair, I was no stranger to the struggles of finding how to properly tame curls, calm frizz and maintain a beautifully defined coil throughout the day. I too had been victim to all the online advice that never seemed to work, false product promises (we're looking at you Frizz-Ease), my hair being called "messy" or "unprofessional", and trying to find that perfect balance of how often to wash or when to apply product.

After moving to Charleston, I could no longer hide behind my flat iron...the humidity levels in our beautiful city just simply would no allow; any efforts put toward straightening would immediately be thwarted the second I went outside. It was quite simply a waste of time.

I decided the best way to help others with these same problems would be to fully immerse myself in the curl world.

My journey to healthy curls began with shaving my head. Some may see this as the most extreme way to rejuvenate the health of your hair, but my pixie length hair had been bleached to death so cutting off the 2-3 inches of over-processed hair and allowing new hair to grow in untouched by color for 18 months was the best course of action for me. Next, I incorporated all of the steps to healing my hair from the inside out that I had learned through my curl education with companies like Surface and L'ANZA Healing Haircare. 

Today, I enjoy the art of sculpting the perfect curly cut for each guest. The curly cut I offer is not only completely customizable to your curl type, but you will also receive the education on how to care for your exact hair type at home to maintain your stunning new look. When you book this service you are getting product and styling education, as well as a personal curl expert who can help answer questions or challenges you may encounter between services!
